Hello friends…. I am happy to inform you that I got a job at Spectrum Softtech. It was STEPS training through which I got this opportunity. After completing the BTech, I realized that an engineering degree alone won’t help me to get a job. At that time I got a call from STEPS, and I had a discussion with the counselor named Mettilda, and I joined as PHP trainee. Training environment and trainers are exceptionally good, and the experience which I got through training helped we to develop my professional skills. Hi, I am from from Perumbavoor. After completing BCom, I wanted to get into IT field and searched for opportunities in programming. For a general graduate to get an IT job, they should do some advanced training so I joined in STEPS training program as an Android trainee. Android is a growing sector and there were a lot opportunities for programmers. At STEPS, it was a comprehensive training program with the support of experienced programmers, so I was able to know it from the very basic to the level of independently handling it. After completing STEPS training, I was confident of working as an Android developer with the knowledge gained through the real-time projects. I got a job now as Junior Android Developer and happy to be a part of IT industry. Now, I want to enhance my knowledge and explore more. I can tell you that rather than joining training institutes, it is more beneficial to join an industry-oriented training to know how IT company works.

I completed my engineering in Computer Science and was very much enthusiastic about mobile development. Many of my friends told Android is a promising area, so I wanted to learn Android and found that STEPS training is offering an advanced Android Development Training. Unlike going into a training institute, STEPS is offering training in a live industrial mode, where we got a good exposure to projects and all. First I learned Java and then Android through this program, and i don't find it as a very difficult platform for a newcomer. After completing just plus two, i was in doubt whether I can do programming, but got an opportunity to join STEPS training. All others in my team were BTech completed students. I put in my best effort to learn the technologies, and I am very thankful to my trainers who helped me to understand the basics of programming and how to do coding confidently. Now I got opportunity to work as an intern in Spectrum Softtech and gain working experience from a company. I know there are many people who are in doubt whether they can become programmers and I can assure you that anyone can do it if you have the dedication and get the support of a good trainer. After completion of BTech IT, I wasn't sure of how to frame my career with my interest of becoming an IT tech admin. It is the meeting with the STEPS counselor, which changed my life. I did my Windows Server Administration On-the-Job Training from STEPS inside the Spectrum IT park and worked as intern there for few months. Meanwhile I got selected by CTS as Desktop Support Engineer and now working here. I am so happy with my decision to join STEPS for my training. The environment there is not of a training institute, but really gave the feeling of being in an IT company. Also those who trained us are not simply lecturers, but real technical administrators. The support I got from the technical manager of Spectrum also to be mentioned in terms of making me a complete administrator. A real administration knowledge cannot be gained from any training institute, but for this you need to face real problems and troubleshoot it in live environment. The training program was more practical oriented, so we were able to apply what we learned and thereby understand more in depth about the application side. I joined STEPS Training for Java training in 2012 and after completion of my training I got placed at Spectrum as a developer. I heard that Spectrum is a great place to work and got a good working culture which, was one of the major reasons why I accepted the offer. Perl Programming

Myself Manu Mathew. I completed an industrial training program in Perl (Practical Extraction and Report Language) from the STEPS training wing of Spectrum. On hearing it from one of my faculty in the college, I got interested to learn this unique programming language and searched for a good training. When Googled for the same, I found Spectrum as the No. 1 in Perl Programming. So I joined STEPS after getting an orientation from the counselors about the Perl training and opportunities. It was a life-changing experience for me. When I came here, STEPS provided me with lots of new knowledge and exposure to variety of areas. I enjoyed being here in the training module with a real industrial environment of a company and a serious feel of working along with the professionals. I also got the opportunity to guide the academic project students also. On completing of the training, I was selected to Spectrum IT park itself as a Perl Programmer and am working here now. My name is Fahadh N.V. and I have completed my SEO training program at STEPS, the training wing of Spectrum IT park. I wasn't aware about a job opportunity like Search Engine Optimization before until I hear it from the HR person of STEPS. I joined for this program after understanding the benefits and opportunities of this process and the underlying scope of it. The new environment I got at STEPS was totally different from that of a training institute. We got access to the real time working process of Spectrum company as well as the support of experienced SEO specialists in order to train us. During the training, I learned how to make Keywords, Content Preparation, Meta tags, etc. and gained practical experience.
