I did my BTech Electronic from Sri Vellappally Natesan College of Engineering and passed out in 2015. With my dream to get into an IT career, however I was not sure which area to choose. From electronic background, I was a bit fearful about programming. SEO was a new thing to me when I first heard of it from STEPS counselor Mettilda, but found it interesting as it has no coding or programming involved. My interest increased as I started learning it through the STEPS program. The trainer also was highly experienced and shared most modern technical knowledge at best. On completion of training, I got an offer from Spectrum to continue working there and I am here for the last few months as an SEO expert. I enjoy this job. I through of joining STEPS as I really wanted some experience in the industry rather than joining for a traditional classroom training. Actually during that time, I was looking around to do a certificate course in Java. But, from the STEPS counselor, I realized that it is experience which counts a lot more than a certificate. I also got rejected in many interviews because I didn’t have experience. Through the Java training of STEPS, I gained a lot of knowledge along with experience in Java. Now I got a Job in MPhasis Chennai. The experience from STEPS helped me to perform well in the interview as well as technical tests. I express my deepest gratitude towards STEPS… Thanks a lot…..

I completed the Linux Server Administration Training from STEPS training division. Now I am working at Spectrum Softtech Solution as a Linux Administrator. Spectrum is having high-end technical services like Server Colocation, hosting etc. As far as technical administration is concerned, what we got from college education was just theoretical knowledge. I understood that theoretical awareness cannot really help in actual working conditions. I acquired enough work related knowledge through the STEPS training which helped me to get this job. Also STEPS placed me into the current job. I am impressed with the training environment and atmosphere as well as the supportive approach of the experienced technical managers at STEPS. After my Graduation I was looking forward to sharpen my technical skills for a job in IT sector. Those days, I heard about STEPS, and that it is the training wing of Spectrum IT park. I got good feedback from my friends too about it so I joined for Windows Training course there. It was a 3-months course, but what I have earned is 3 years experience. It was a golden opportunity for getting training in a live environment and trainers are also from the hosting and server collocation industry, so they were update with the latest technologies. It was really a good experience for me. Now I am working as Windows Administrator with Spectrum itself. I am very much enjoying the job here in between the high-end technical infrastructure of an IT park and so many thanks to STEPS for getting me here.

First of all, I thank for the training and placement assistance. I am a BSc graduate from University of MS. I attended Windows On the Job Training program at STEPS. It really changed my career path. After my graduation, I had only the classroom knowledge, and was totally unaware about how the real server administrator environment look like. But after the training from STEPS, I became very much confident and knowledgeable in all aspects of Windows and Network Administration. Later, I got an opportunity to join as Windows Administration team of Spectrum Softtech. Now i am working in Active solutions as System Admin. There are many things I got to do now. I strongly suggest STEPS for those who want to get an industrial on-the-job training in technical administration. I am sure that training given by STEPS is more than our expectation and worth enough. Hello friends….. Joining STEPS was one of the major milestones in my life. After completing my post-graduation, I searched for a job, but didn’t get any opportunities as my work experience was zero. Then I joined STEPS as a PHP trainee as they told what I will gain from there will be real experience. I was trained in the live environment of Spectrum company which is basically an IT development center. I really enjoyed my time here with a good team and the trainers also are IT professionals with years of experience and immense knowledge on their respective platforms. I did Java training at STEPS and that was a very nice experience for me. I am currently working at Spectrum IT park as a Java developer. Spectrum is the first private sector IT park in Kerala. It was throug the STEPS program, I got this opportunity for placement. After BTech , I attended many interviews but all that needed everywhere was experience.
